Fire Barrel

Robust with red spines!

The Fire Barrel Cactus (Ferocactus stainesii) brings warmth and cosiness into the house.

This cactus has a nice, rounded barrel shape. In the wild, this barrel can grow into a real giant of up to three metres high. The dark green of the cactus contrasts beautifully with the red of the spines.
This fire barrel cactus is easy to maintain. Put it in a light to sunny spot.

Water approximately every other week through the summer. In the winter, watering once a month is sufficient.
